“Green sally up, green sally down. Last one squat gotta tear the ground”
When this song is played, most people will immediately think of the move Gone in Second 60 seconds.
This song was then altered for a workout challenge called “Bring Sally Up, Bring Sally Down”.
So what you are going to do is very simple. When the song says up you squat up and stand. When it says down you squat down and stay in that position until they say up. Try and complete the entire song without stopping.
I love this challenge and will oftentimes have my clients do it at the end of the workout. This is usually done with squats. I would recommend starting with bodyweight before adding some weight to a bar. You’d be surprised at how difficult it is with just bodyweight.
For an extra challenge try it with push-ups.
