Here’s your challenge this week, do something you wouldn’t normally do during a workout. Maybe it’s doing hill sprints at the park. Maybe it’s trying a new exercise you’ve never done before. Maybe it’s going for a swim. Whatever it may be switch it up!
It is good to be well rounded and change it up. Oftentimes we get into the routine of doing the same thing over and over again. This halts progress and your body gets too used to that type of training. One thing I love doing with my clients is cycling routines. For 2 months maybe we do full body workouts, then for the next 2 months we do a push pull split. And so on… Always changing things when progress seems stagnant.
